Fall 2017 is all about finance at PISA Perspectives. On the occasion of an exhibition participation at the campus of the WU Vienna, Department of Marketing, everything revolves around securities, a quite exciting, ambiguous topic.
While rummaging through old papers, certificates, banknotes, Eva Pisa came across all kinds of strange characters.... the Gulden Gnome, the Value Paper Guardian, the Banknote Bilch... a coin collector.
Step by step, these made their way into the satirical drawings, in a very special technique consisting of several layers, drawn with pen and ink on prepared paper.
Many of us worry about our savings, our reserves - but there is this deposit insurance, a confirmation from the state that our money is safe in financial institutions...
Hoping that we do not lose this trust, especially since the civil servant Austrian deposit insurance guardian has his hand on it, watches and manages...
