In this work, the artist combines three-dimensional sewn object parts with a dynamically designed background.
The composition invites the viewer to dive into the elements designed like boats and travel to new shores.
It could also be large leaf structures floating on the water, inviting us to look at nature in a new way.

Characteristics and CV
Susanne Guzei-Taschner was born in Vienna in 1953 and studied graphic art from 1974 - 78 at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna under Prof. Oswald Oberhuber (graduated in 1978). This was followed in 1979 by a scholarship abroad at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (Poland), the Vienna Art Fund Award and a state scholarship for fine arts. Member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus since 1980. Member of the Professional Association of Austrian Visual Artists since 2017. 1982-1995 worked for ORF Vienna (graphics department).
