Cooperation between Es.ARTE (Marbella) and BURN-IN (Vienna)

Marifé Nuñez opened your gallery on the Costa del Sol in July 2017. She is a gallery owner, artist and advertising agency owner with passion. Marifé was born in Córdoba, lived in Belgium in her childhood and graduated in graphic arts and photography in Málaga and London and received her master's degree in business and marketing.
Nuñez participated in two very successful BURN-IN exhibitions in Vienna in the past.

In the series LAYERS OF LIFE, she not only works with different layers in her paintings, but also aims to reach other levels of consciousness. Her paintings are based on photographs printed directly on aluminum, wood, plexiglass or painted backgrounds. Collages complement the painted surfaces, but the transparency of the underlying digital layers is preserved. She critically processes her experimental portraits with quotations from the past and famous images from art history.

Several meetings and igniting art transfers in Marbella and Vienna followed, until it finally came to the co-op. Decisive were certainly the common interdisciplinary background (art | management | marketing), the international orientation and the joy of experimenting at the interface of art and business to work.
. Thus, together we are breaking new ground in the art business and use synergies, which have a stimulating effect on both galleries and strengthen us sustainably.

The BURN-IN partner gallery ES.ARTE convinces with a wonderful ambience. Thus, the contemporary gallery creates an adequate exhibition framework for expressive, emotionalizing exhibitions.

Exhibition Flashes of Genius | Flashes de Ingenio
In November 2017 five established BURN-IN artists present fifteen works on our annual theme "Emotion & Intuition" in the exhibition Flashes of Genius from Vienna to Marbella and thus set an "internal" counterpoint to the Viennese annual round.
